Agrimonia
Agrimony is a species of the rose family and has yellow flowers. The plant grows in the mountainous areas near sheltered forests along streams and in meadows. The entire plant is used for medicine. This plants high tannins and catechin makes it a good astringent and diuretic for mild bladder inflammation and urethra inflammation. Be care of using this herb when you are on anticoagulant medicine.
Cystorrhea, in general, or chronic smelly urine.
Acute cystitis/ urethritis with cloudy, smelly urine.
Incontinence, general; or from chronic nephritis or acute lower urinary tract infections.
Lithiasis, with irritation, inflammatory pain.
Pain in lumbar region, flanks to navel.
Erect, downy, and slightly aromatic perennial. Harvested in summer while flowering. Contains tannings, coumarins, flavonoids, and polysaccharides. Used for healing wounds, staunches bleeding and encourages clotting. Its astringent and bitter properties make it useful in diarrhea, and is tonic to the digestive system as a whole. Also used for cystitis, incontinence, kidney stones, sore throats, hoarseness, rheumatism, and osteoarthritis.
