Lemon Eucalyptus has antifungal and antibacterial properties that make it useful against Streptococcus and the citrus component to the scent is a relaxant. It is very useful for herpes, arthritis and signs of heat such as thirst, dryness, thick mucus and fever. Lemon Eucalyptus is a useful insect repellant that smells pleasant. 

Our fresh Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil from South Africa has a refreshing and relaxing aroma. In addition to its aromatherapeutic benefits, it is especially useful as an insect repellant due to its high citronellal content. It adds fresh, non-citrus overtones to natural perfume formulations.

Aromatic Profile: Strong, fresh, citronella-like odour, sweet balsamic undertone

 Appearance: Colourless or pale yellow mobile liquid

 Other Uses: Fragrance component in soaps, detergents, room sprays, insect repellants and perfumes

 Blending Suggestions: Dilute well and add drop by drop to blends until desired effect is achieved.

 Blends Well With: Lavender, Bergamot,  Tea Tree, Clary Sage

 Safety Considerations: Non-toxic, non-irritant, possible sensitization in some individuals. Eucalyptus oil is toxic when taken internally (1).
