Star Anise Seed essential oil (not to be confused with Anise) can help calm and relax an overworked body and mind, as well as help ease heartache (1). It is estrogen-like in its actions and can help women with amenorrhea, and can also aid in increasing breast milk production. It is also very useful for digestive health including colitis and constipation.


Aromatic Profile: Spicy, warm, licorice-like


Safety Considerations: Anise should be avoided in cases of breast cancer, tumors, epilepsy, pregnancy, and menstrual complaints.

Not appropriate for children under age 12.


Appearance:  Clear to pale yellow

Blending Suggestions: Dilute well and add drop by drop to your blends until the desired effect is achieved.
