Ravensara essential oil has a similar scent to Eucalyptus, but with more notes of camphor. It is extremely useful for many types of infections. Its anti-viral and anti-microbial attributes help relieve symptoms of colds and flu, bronchitis, viral hepatitis, shingles and sinus congestion. It can also be used to alleviate muscle fatigue as well as acne. 

This is true Ravensara essential oil, wild grown in Madagascar. Ravensara is a powerful antiviral oil that reportedly strengthens the immune system; it can be used to treat 'flu and respiratory symptoms. It is also appears to be an excellent muscle and nerve tonic.

The aroma of Ravensara essential oil is similar to but not as strong as the common Blue Gum Eucalyptus oil.

Aromatic Profile: Sweet, fresh, slightly lemony, licorice-like scent

Actions: Antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-infectious, expectorant, immune-stimulant

Blending Suggestions: Dilute well and add drop by drop to your blends until desired effect is achieved

Blends Well With: Eucalyptus, Anise, Lemon, Lemon-Eucalyptus, Cinnamon

Safety Considerations: Generally safe, avoid during pregnancy, avoid use with aromatherapy due to its high methyl chavicol content
